Robotic assisted knee surgery in Daly City - Seton Medical Center
Dr. John Velyvis , M.D., Seton Medical Center, which is the first hospital to use the robotic assistant for knee surgeries, explains why robotics-assistant is a great thing in surgeries. In the video, he explains: The robot is in total control but is used by the surgeon to increase accuracy and prevent problems for patients down the road. The computer allows the surgeon to see from angles that there's no line of sight for visualization because the computer does all the stream for you and tells you all the depth and angles and agrees that you are working on the knees that we can match the patient's Anatomy much better.
